This study analyzed the reliability and factorial structure of the attitude toward the statistics proposed by Ausmendi (1992), in a sample of 365 students from the field of sports and physical activity, specifically from sports training careers and a degree in physical education and the like. The research was quantitative, non-experimental, descriptive and sampling was done at convenience. The results showed that one of the items did not achieve satisfactory performance in the criteria considered; therefore, the final proposed questionnaire has 24 items that are grouped into 4 dimensions instead of 5 as the original scale. In conclusion, the resulting questionnaire is reliable, validity and presented evidence of multidimensionality
