INTRODUCTION: Motor disability is a condition that affects the motor control and movement of the body, therefore, it is of great importance that children benefit from a good condition that allows them to move from one place to another and have no restrictions. Prevent them from leading a better quality of life. The World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Bank evaluate that more than one billion people live with a disability and that a high number of children and young people of school age who have disabilities do not receive any type of education. Many of the difficulties presented by children with motor disabilities are reflected in the functional mobility of either one or several body parts. Objective: Establish the influence of environmental factors on the participation of students with motor disabilities in an educational institution in Cartagena METHODOLOGY: The type of study of this research is descriptive, because it allows an analysis of the infrastructure and describe the architectural barriers that lead to problems in the accessibility and participation of students with motor disabilities.
