Objective: The purpose was Determine the Enterococcus faecalis microfiltration three endodontic obturation techniques (lateral condensation, vertical condensation and single cone). Materials and Methods: We used 30 single-rooted premolar teeth, using chemical - mechanical technique ProTaper Universal system and were randomized into 5 groups, 3 experimental and two controls. Eight teeth were used for each group, which were formed and sealed with each of the techniques (lateral condensation and vertical condensation Obtura II System B and single cone technique). They were then subjected to microfiltration with Enterococcus faecalis for 21 days changing every 48 hours microorganism having all specimens microfiltration. Results: The results showed that group 3 (single cone, showed the shortest filtration time compared to the other two groups Conclusions: Despite the limitations that were taken into the study, we conclude that the single cone technique is insufficient technique to prevent bacterial microleakage in root canals.
