Modelo empresarial para la promoción del emprendimiento en las personas privadas de la libertad del establecimiento penitenciario de mediana seguridad y carcelario de Barrancabermeja
The research has developed in Barrancabermeja, Colombia, It aims at developing a business model promoting the initiative and competitiveness of people deprived of their freedom, through their manual and social abilities, generating an opportunity for employment inclusion as entrepreneurs inside and outside of an organization. Similarly, it proposes an alternative that improves the current well-being of people deprived of their freedom, allowing social inclusion through their potential, avoiding the reinsertion of crimes, integrating themselves legally and worthily into society and their working environment; in this way the model offers the possibility of replicating in other prison institutions. For the methodological development, the data gathering instruments applied were the semi-structured survey of people deprived of their freedom and the questionnaire opened to the director of the Penitentiary Establishment of Medium Security and Prison (INPEC) of Barrancabermeja. Likewise, it focuses on groups, participatory observation and triangulation, as well as participation in a business fair to identify the supply and demand of products made by the population deprived of freedom in Barrancabermeja. Finally, the model provides an approach to integral entrepreneurship, which is not only based on obtaining an economic benefit, but also brings together three competences (Knowing how to be, Knowing how to do and Knowing), with the objective of achieving an effective re-socialization in their environment. For this reason, the business model exposes the roles of direct and indirect stakeholders (people deprived of freedom, Family, INPEC, INTEGRARTE, Suppliers, Distributors, State and indirect strategic allies) to facilitate the understanding and development of rights and duties of the participants in the process.
