The use of hormonal contraceptives often provides a rapid suppression of unwanted behaviors of females during estrus and creates an alternative to surgical intervention for animals, but can cause important physiological changes in animals and can be constituted in a risk to the health of pets. In this paper two feline cases are described, which were presented in a clinic in the municipality of Arauca, where pathological changes are observed both at the mammary gland level and in the reproductive system, preceded by the application of the medroxyprogesterone acetate used during estrus. for prevention of pregnancies, in such a way it describes all the clinical findings, therapeutic plans and evolution of each of the cases.
