Percepción de los pacientes de consulta prenatal sobre la atención que reciben del centro de salud de Gaira, distrito de Santa Marta en el periodo comprendido enero-junio de 2016.
The objective is to evaluate the perception of prenatal care patients about the care they receive through the application of a survey in the Gaira Health Center District of Santa Marta, in the period between January and June 2016, with a methodology of With a population of 125 women attending a prenatal visit, with a sample of 15 people, it was evident that in the perception of 67% of the users consider it very good, which affirms a very positive acceptance of the service, Also the attention and information they provide as well as the time of activities at the individual level as a group, in addition 63% consider that there are problems in the health center that can be improved to obtain a quality service, while 37% Considers that there is no problem in the prenatal consultation process. However, 93% consider this service to be of good quality. Although users have a favorable perception in the care provided by Gaira Health Center staff when providing the service, it is necessary to seek new alternatives of care that provide users with an acceptable mood and compliance to the To attend consultations, so it was appropriate to present an action plan to improve the prenatal consultation service that contemplates the opportunities for improvement that resulted in these results, which included the strengthening of organizational strategies to provide care with better conditions that respond to the Expectations of the users.
