Objective: To identify the barriers to access to health that the oncological population under 18 years of age has that is part of a foundation in the city of Villavicencio. Methodology: It is a bivariate descriptive, observational quantitative study, the information collection procedure was carried out through the EPIINFO version 7.2 program and OUTLOOK FORMS by telephone, using the Barrier Identification instrument. Results: According to the results obtained from the instrument applied to the total study population (N = 22), it can be seen that one of the causes that hinder access to health services in the study population, it was found that the 45% refer to long and long waiting times to obtain access to care, in addition to administrative processes where the non-authorization of the EPS is evidenced with 27%, which makes it more difficult to access health services in a timely manner. Conclusion: The main barriers that were identified in patients with a diagnosis of cancer assigned to the foundation in the city of Villavicencio are related to access to health services and administrative procedures of the EPS, low satisfaction was found due to the prolonged time in the authorization, diagnosis, and treatment process. In addition, difficulties were evidenced for the continuity of the therapeutic regimen, which led to the implementation of legal remedies such as application of petition rights and guardianships.
