Health is fundamental in people's lives, therefore different international entities are guarantors in the provision of this service to the population, which must be of quality. In Latin America there are different difficulties in being able to access a health service considering that the countries are developing and do not have the economic sufficiency and in some cases the human talent to offer the service to the entire population, as studies carried out by the Bank Furthermore, if there is total coverage of the population, the quality of care is not the best considering the perception of users. Colombia is a clear example of the above, where the inadequate quality of care is reflected in the different IPS services, especially in the hospitalization service that is the focus of this study. Through this research, we seek to measure the perception of quality in the care of hospitalized patients in two health institutions in Villavicencio 2021, which will be carried out through a cross-sectional descriptive qualitative study, which will allow it to be applied to 100% of the population that attends these hospitalization services and who wish to participate in the research. In conclusion, according to the analysis of the information obtained in the two institutions, it was notably evidenced that institution 1 has a better perception of quality with respect to institution 2, however, there are shortcomings in all dimensions in both institutions.
