Muebles Levis Ltda., is a small company dedicated to manufacturing, developing productive projects such as design and manufacture of all types of furniture for the home and industry. It was found that employees use in the transformation processes many different machines, tools and toxic substances that at any given time can generate multiple accidents in the work place and cause serious environmental impacts. Among those environmental impacts is that the company might be promoting deforestation, the emission of minuscule matter produced by the activities developed in the manufacturing processes of furniture, the noise that is produced by the machinery and equipment of the company, solvent emissions of volatile organic compounds in the stages of painted, odors caused by paints, immunizing and adhesives, generation of solid waste by inappropriate handling of raw materials in the process managing the equipment in general, and the generation of " hazardous and non-hazardous waste "(Ministerio del Medio Ambiente, 1997) Even thought is true that all the following processes are indispensable for the production in Muebles Levis Ltda; discharge the raw materials, cracked, cut, assemble woodwork, sanded, painted, finished processes, installation and/or delivery of the product to the customer, also it is true that all of these can generate accidents, diseases and serious impacts to the environment, without leaving aside the inconvenience and diseases in workers and neighbors, generating innumerable economic losses to the company. So, it is clear that the company needs a program of a More Clean Production (MCP), in order to prevent, control, mitigate and/or eliminate the risks and environmental impacts, where employees are able to handle properly the machinery, raw materials and inputs of labor; likewise they can protect his physical integrity, prevent pollution to the environment, so each and every one of the stages of production processes may continue, so they can have activities and products more friendly with the environment
