The objective of this article was to identify the state of Social Responsibility Corporate (RSC) of organizations in the banking sector. This document reviews the studies of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) identifying the main problems analyzed about it in the scientific literature, as well as the methodologies used, through a extensive review of research articles, books and book chapters published in the databases Scopus and Social Science Recesarh Network data with 90% of the articles from the last three years. The results obtained under this bibliographical sweep show a high interest on the part of the academy in studying the concept and what Corporate Social Responsibility implies in the different organizations and especially those that develop in the banking sector. I know it had to start from the general using quantitative and qualitative methods; However, phenomena such as the perception of stakeholders regarding social and environmental performance of banking entities, the impact of Corporate Social Responsibility practices (CSR) in the local or national development of developing countries (especially in Latin America) and the responsibility of the sector in bankarization have not been addressed in depth.
