Adolescence is a very complex stage, of changes and transformations influenced by genetic and environmental factors mainly derived from their family environment, which is why young people require adequate guidance, so that they can perform the representation of their ideals and set their goals by building a life project as a means of building their own individual and social identity. A teenager who is aware of the importance of building a life project will use all his resources to achieve his goals. This process broadens one's self-awareness thus allowing to show their strengths and weaknesses, as well as enables the development of useful skills and abilities for decision making, problem solving and conflicts so that adolescents improve their ability to positively face their own relationships. In their daily environment, they are able to visualize their ideals and set their goals in order to achieve their self-realization and that they further identify themselves with a society to which they belong, feel an important part of it.
