Estudio de movilidad para la avenida Pedro Tafur Calle 83 de la ciudad de Ibagué-Tolima para dinamizar el flujo peatonal y vehicular orientada a jerarquizar la pirámide de movilidad urbana
Pedro Tafur Avenue or 83rd Street, is a main road artery for the city of Ibagué, capital of the department of Tolima - Colombia. It has a 1.9-kilometre double carriageway connecting Carrera 5 Avenue and Mirolindo Avenue, where main avenues lead to residential, commercial, industrial, recreational facilities and the road that leads to Perales Airport where it currently has the branch. bike-infrastructure with the longest length in the city and the first in the country lit entirely with solar energy. In the present work, fieldwork was carried out to collect primary information such as topographical survey, signage inventory and visual monitoring of the state of the pavement, in the same way observing the difficulty that pedestrians and bicyclists had to mobilize in this important road of the city. city. From this information, thematic cartography was generated in the ArcGIS platform from georeferencing and taking attributes, with this a general geographic database is obtained, which includes qualitative and quantitative attributes. Finally, defining the critical points in terms of mobility and accidents based on heat maps, as a result of the analyzes improvements in road connectivity were proposed; this in order to mitigate the risks and the high accident rate in the area, acceleration and deceleration lanes were projected, the implementation of Protected Intersections was concluded as an alternative. This work is oriented to the hierarchy of urban mobility, based on sustainable transport, together with an environmentally friendly road infrastructure seeking to satisfy economic, cultural, social, sports and recreational aspects of the city.
