In the present study, the word "superior education" refers to quality, which complies with parameters taught by UNESCO, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and the National Federation of Accountants (IFAC); those that provoke a development of society where Public Accounting can be reflected worldwide. Objective: Measure from the opinion of graduates and active students, the relevance of the public accounting program in Villavicencio. Method: For the respective development of the research, a mixed approach was addressed, applying a perception survey to 404 students and 299 graduates. Results: It was found that the relevance of the program in Villavicencio, is measured from: quality to 75%, from the level of satisfaction with a percentage average of 58.5% of favorability in graduates and active students, the training process with a 77 % favorable from the perspective graduates and active students, current update of International Standards with 71% in favor perceived by active students, study a specialization, diploma or another study with 77% satisfaction for the graduate, the program has met the expectations in their work experience with 60% according to the graduates.
