La gender-based violence is a social and public health problem that requires effective and coordinated attention from healthcare services. However, there are significant challenges in collecting and timely transmitting data related to these cases, hindering informed decision-making and the implementation of effective policies to reduce the annual number of cases. That is why the present improvement plan aims to generate a value proposal that allows for efficient coordination between the Women's Department and the different hospitals in the Magdalena Department so that information related to the care provided to women victims of gender-based violence can be immediately transmitted. Through a thorough analysis of current processes and the identification of critical points, improvements in data collection, recording, and communication regarding the care of these women are proposed. Training of healthcare personnel in the proper identification and documentation of cases of gender-based violence will be promoted, and a technological infrastructure will be established to enable the rapid and secure transmission of information. The implementation of this plan has the potential to strengthen the healthcare system's response to gender-based violence in the Magdalena Department, ensuring more effective care and better coordination between hospitals and the authorities responsible for public policies.
