In order to describe specifically what is the problem whose solution this formative research seeks, it is necessary to know the general background of the company Emy Confecciones S.A., its business core and the prospects it has for the future, and whose achievement can begin to build based on the general guidelines of ISO 9001: 2015 The company Emy Confecciones S.A. is a microenterprise founded in 2007 in the city of Bogotá, focused on the creation of seams in everyday garments such as uniforms and sports sweatshirts. Since its inception its operation was focused on the market of schools in the town of Suba. The company was incorporated to make clothing arrangements and later evolved to produce personalized clothing at the service of its community, operation that continued for several years until its founder, Emilia Ruiz, a woman with an entrepreneurial vision, sees the need to support the mothers who are heads of household in her community, not only generating employment, but making their children's uniforms at a lower cost and exchanging labor for work that benefited mothers and the company itself. In this way, the idea of venturing into the industry of making and sewing uniforms for schools was born. The school with which they acquire their first contract, as an associated company to make uniforms such as sweatshirts and daily t-shirts, is the Álvaro Gómez Hurtado school in the town of Suba in Bogotá, for which it had to deliver around 1200 garments in the first quarter of each year, Initially with a capacity of two housewives employees, who in turn performed the functions of customer service, purchasing, inventory, courier and other tasks that arose in the company. For several years its founder, has decided to strengthen her brand and conquer the city of Bogotá and, consequently, decides to apply a series of rules of business organization that have allowed her to develop and focus the mission and vision to grow her company. From this need to validate the processes to apply to the process ISO-9001 2015 certification, and creates the document with the research carried out and the proposals presented to the company.
