Our research comes from knowing that Colombia is one of the happiest countries in the world according to surveys by Gallup and Win-Happy Planet Index. From here the concern about what the concept of happiness in an environment of armed conflict, and at the gates of a post-conflict scenario arises. Meta and especially Villavicencio, is a strategic point for developing studies on post-conflict since from the historical features developed by research has identified a process that has developed the violence through the creation of armed groups in this sector. Despite the talk of happiness in Colombia problematic aspects of social experience, as people are not even aware and is somewhat contradictory to speak of happiness when there is still war. 3 Thus it is created the objective of this research to analyze social representations based on the terms of happiness and post-conflict. Takes place first stay in a theoretical review of the concept of happiness, deepening social and positivist theories and psychology; also the historical development of major concepts, based on authors to reach the definition of conflict and post-conflict and thus to make a better analysis of the concepts given by individuals. This research was done under a qualitative approach, using an ethnographic study, associative methods through interviews with the concepts of happiness and post. The study population were men and women aged 18-35 years selected by purposeful sampling. Therefore the results show agreement in their conception of happiness, identifying that being happy is dependent on the same subject and the meaning given to life, the emotional, economic stability, be with their loved ones and have good interpersonal relationships, based on the social representation of participants; on the term post-conflict specifically they emphasize the benefits and problems that would bring this term, in which Colombia needs to devise a post-conflict scenario where peace is possible.
