That is why this research aims to identify the psychosocial factors associated with suicidal ideation in young people between 16 and 23 years of age at the Cooperative University of Colombia, Villavicencio, Faculty of Psychology. The methodological support is given from the quantitative approach to what is complemented by a non-explanatory and transversal design; the applied sample is not probabilistic of an intentional type and the instrument is a Likert-type survey of its own design. With the results it was possible to find that the most predominant factor in suicidal ideation occurs from the family factor, followed by the social factor and the economic factor.
