The Present of the Quality in Health in Colombia in the different entities that provide Health Services is framed within the minimum compliance standards set forth in Resolution 2003 of 2014 and framed in Decree 780 of 2016 (System of the Guarantee of the Quality), where, the National Government at the head of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection established the necessary mechanisms to perform their evaluation, monitoring and follow-up, in order to generate spaces that allow greater results in the Security of the Patient and Humanization of Health Services. In accordance with the above and with the aim of carrying out the application and putting in place the knowledge obtained in the academy, in this work you will find the applicability of a visit to verify the standards of the low complexity Clinical Laboratory area of the San José Hospital ESE, First Level Health Services Provider Institution, which has a population to attend that oscillates 32,000 inhabitants and that due to its geospatial location is an entity of vital importance for the Health network of the Department of Tolima.
