Canine ehrlichiosis is a disease that affects the body of dogs in a multisystemic way, it is generated by the bite of the Rhipicephalus sanguineus tick capable of transmitting the rickettsial microorganism, which affects the immune system and causes a wide variety of symptoms in dogs. Therefore, the objective of this article is to carry out a systematic review on the immunopathology caused in the host; For this, 69 articles in English and 13 in Spanish were reviewed. The review allowed us to conclude that in dogs infected by E. canis, hypoalbuminemia, hyperglobulinemia, and hypergammaglobulinemia can occur, which causes damage to the body and can lead to the death of the dog.
