Supernumerary teeth (SD), are anomalies that evolve dental development, are characterized by the presence of additional teeth to the normal or usual dental formula, both permanent (32 teeth) and primary (20 teeth) (2). They are called supernumerary teeth, hyperodontia or hypergenesis and can occur anywhere in the mouth (3). The etiology of SD is unknown. Although, the literature relates it to environmental, genetic factors, division of the second or third molar. They can present themselves in various forms, positions and produce alterations in dentoalveolar development and growth such as: diastema formation, dental crowding, displacement of neighboring teeth, alterations in the eruption time of permanent teeth, malocclusion, pain, dental resorption (4).
