This document is mainly focused on the deterioration that has arisen during the wear and tear of the roads that are within the municipal limits and that, through requests to the road department, inspections are carried out in areas that have more affectations, since the deterioration generates a high rate of automobile accidents. As a solution to this problem, the maintenance and improvement of the city's roads is very necessary, considering that by recovering the optimal conditions of mobility, the consequences of accidents are avoided. During my internship in the infrastructure secretary I had the opportunity to participate and carry out repair projects on roads and streets of the city of Neiva, the main objectives were to improve the quality of road infrastructure and ensure the safety of drivers and pedestrians. In addition, I participated in the analysis and evaluation of the main roads of the city that required primary patching, together with the work team we identified the state of the surfaces and most affected areas and determined the scope of the necessary work. We used specialized tools and equipment, such as odometers and thickness gauges, to obtain accurate quantities and data on existing conditions.
