Currently, the market demands systems engineers with high standards and essential skills, such as software development, databases and other skills relevant to this profession. It is worth noting the importance of the Systems Engineering career at the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, both for the understanding that its students and graduates have about the relevance of data and information management, as well as for society as a whole, which is immersed in the technological era. In addition, its curriculum is consistent with current needs. In addition, the training of systems engineers with high standards and essential skills, such as software development, databases and other skills relevant to this profession, has enabled systems engineers to support the simplification of many previously complex tasks through computer solutions. This has become a business and employment opportunity, as is the case of people who have a cargo transport and have no job, providing drivers with hiring guarantees and fair payment for their service. There are companies that contract these transports, but unfortunately, they often do not pay drivers according to the market. The proposal to partially address this situation is to create an application that allows people to request moving services via a mobile device from a trusted freight driver based on the real-time location pronounced by Google Maps through the implementation of Android Studio software. This model not only describes how the physical data is represented in the database in an abstract form, but also includes the relationships, entities and attributes of those entities, as well as foreign keys. In summary, the implementation of this application will allow people to request services more easily and safely, thanks to real-time location technology and the ability to choose a trusted driver. In the field time conducted, it was concluded the importance of analyzing the value that different drivers assign to the freight transportation service. The information obtained through the 100 surveys conducted to a selected group of people in the Tolima region, allowed identifying that even with the same conditions, the value of this service varied. During the development of the proposed application, there were challenges in the implementation of geolocation, specifically in the route traced that did not correspond to the correct address of the user. This demonstrates the complexity of integrating technologies in a project of this type. In addition, it should be noted that the physical structure of the database was not described and it is suggested to use formal names for entities and attributes.
