This document is based on the deepening seminar "Management and Supervision of works" will be based on the budget and schedule for the improvement of a tertiary road La Bankruptcy, village of Santa Ana, in the municipality of Granada, Meta; likewise, its programming in the SOFTWARE PROJECT, making known the knowledge acquired in said seminar. In civil works a budget is always essential, this indicates the total cost of the work discriminating activity by activity, this is an essential tool to organize the work to execute But, in order to make an accurate budget, the APU's are first carried out, analysis of unit prices, that is, they are broken down by item each of the activities included in the project, where aspects such as direct costs that include (tools and equipment, materials, labor) and indirect costs such as AIU (administration, contingencies, utilities) also EMP reports (environmental management plan), PMT (traffic management plan), PAPSO (safety protocol plan at work) and the road characterization, in this case it is done because a road improvement is going to be carried out tertiary; all these aspects allow us to give unit value to each item, for later quantify the budget. Finally, a schedule of activities is made, using Microsoft Project programming, This allows to include all the necessary information to determine the real time of the project and Also, being able to identify the critical path, this is the one that identifies the activities that have a delay in its execution and may cause delays in the work.
