The company Zoluciona Ltda., is a consulting firm specialized in the management and technical support of the Drinking Water and Basic Sanitation Sector, hereinafter SAPSB, a sector to which the home public service companies of aqueduct, sewerage and cleaning belong, such as the company called, Aguas y Aseo del Pital y Agrado whose acronym is APA S.A. E.S.P., an entity to which Zoluciona Ltda. has provided its services since 2012 and in which, the consulting firm, gave me the opportunity to carry out a business practice. The SAPSB, in Colombia, is led by the Ministry of City and Territory Housing, an agency that issues its regulation through the Technical Regulation of the Drinking Water and Basic Sanitation Sector - RAS, Law 1176 of 2007, and Sole Decree 1077 of 2015 which compiles all the regulations of the sector. Additionally, for the purposes of regulations in relation to the provision of home public services of aqueduct, sewerage and cleaning, there is Law 142 of 1994, called: Special Regime for Public Services in Colombia, which in turn created two institutions very important, such as: the Commission for the Regulation of Drinking Water and Basic Sanitation - CRA, as the entity responsible for regulating the relationship between the companies that provide these public services and their users, the rights and duties of each of the actors, the tariff methodologies and the general regime that both the providers and the beneficiaries of such home public services must comply with. Law 142 of 1994 also created the Superintendence of Residential Public Services - SSPD, which is the entity in charge of monitoring and controlling that the regulation issued by the CRA is attended to by the providers of said residential public services, as well as defending the rights of the users of such services. Due to the above, APA S.A. E.S.P., in its capacity as provider of public aqueduct, sewerage and cleaning services in the municipalities of El Pital and Agrado, is obliged to comply with the law and the regulations issued by the ministry and the CRA regarding the provision of said services. One of the obligations of the APA, in relation to the provision of public services, has to do with the responsibility of applying the survey on User Satisfaction Level – NSU annually. Zoluciona Ltda., in my capacity as a practitioner, delegated to me the responsibility of applying, tabulating, analyzing and concluding the NSU survey applied to the users of the Pleasant, corresponding to the validity of the fiscal year 2022. Likewise, recommending the necessary, preventive actions and corrective measures to improve the perception of users of the municipality of Agrado, in relation to the provision of the public aqueduct service provided by APA S.A. ENG. The main purpose of this report is to expose the experiences acquired throughout the practice as a degree modality executed in the company Zoluciona Ltda. in such a way that this exercise helped me to develop and put into practice different knowledge achieved throughout the study of civil engineering career.
