The present research work consists of The description and analysis of The current conditions of the municipalities of Aracataca and Fundación of the department of Magdalena, based on their fiscal management. The problem of this research was to analyze all those aspects related to the fiscal management of these municipalities, taking into account all the potential of funds that could be accessed by subnational governments at the time of having availability of their own resources as a result of fiscal management. This analysis will help us understand that in the measures in which these resources are generated for Aracataca and Fundación Magdalena, their local administrators, they will be able to have the necessary funds to leverage greater investments in these territories. On the other hand, the question arises and is, is this management really being complied with? since in current situations what is sought is to achieve all those sectoral goals proposed by the government. Generally, the local administration must have as its main objective to improve fiscal management, which will allow these rulers to have all the necessary resources to attend to the particular needs of their citizens, assuming the responsibilities that have been assigned to them. In this way, the autonomy that these two municipalities can achieve will be reflected; seeking the ability to consolidate two very important areas such as: the generation of own income and a greater efficiency of spending. The foregoing favors us for the formulation of conclusions, which would allow the increase of fiscal spaces, forging great benefits for the management of municipal development. Seeking effective improvements in collection together with better financial and budget planning, creating positive environments in the communities, generating credibility and acceptance in the local public administration.
