Canine parvovirus (PVC) is one of the main viral agents with the greatest affectation in canines, where puppies are the most likely to suffer from it. The symptoms of this disease can be based on vomiting and hemorrhagic enteritis as main signs. Current treatments consist of stabilizing the patient sinology presented, without having antiviral drug options to use in patients with this pathology. Currently, alternative treatments have emerged such as fecal microbiota transplantation, feline omega interferon, specific purified techniques, serum polyclonal, hyperimmune solutions. This review aims to present other treatment alternatives against PVC-2 type parvovirus apart from the conventional treatments that are the most used in veterinary clinics.
