This theoretical review describes the disability of a child as a significant involvement in the family and parents who must face and assimilate the situation, the objectives of this study are: 1) Know the coping strategies of parents in motor disability status 2) Define the theoretical aspects of coping strategies in parents of children in motor disability status 3) Establish what coping strategies presented parents with children in motor disability status are the method used was descriptive qualitative approach The findings set are; coping strategies most used by parents with children on disability status are related to religion, problem solving, seeking social support and positive reappraisal.
