In this document we want to make visible the family as a socializing agent in charge of transmitting gender roles and the main problems associated with gender inequality in Colombia, as is the case of the high rates of gender violence, intrafamily violence and feminicide, generated by a stereotype of intolerance-machismo, a collective imaginary in the face of assuming different roles that place them within the framework of normality, in such a way that it is still considered to be feminine taking care of children along with demonstrations of affection such as caresses or hugs. Currently, great changes emerged, which modified the family system, now both their roles and interactions are being fixed, opening the way to the consequences of non-education from this first system.
