The Project has by target, show how the National Learning Service, the Departmental Comptroller and the Delegation of the National Register of the Civil State, in the department of Vichada, take decisions through the management information systems. It is important to highlight that this investigation has a qualitative character, because, the collection process, the models stablished to taking decisions and the analysis technics and instruments used, were elaborated without the using of any measurable data, at least numerically, which caused the obtaining of points of view certainly subjective, respect to the public entities. Likewise, an interview was carried out as an instrument, which was addressed to each entity, that survey was made up of ten strategic questions that gave the knowledge about MIS and the taking organizational decisions. Thank this, was possible to determine that, for public entities, the MIS are tools very useful, because, through of these, are unified technological, strategical and human potentials to operate inside the entity, also, was known that these allow to verify the actual state or a specific area to evaluate, thanks to its easy management, all the organization can use it in a fast and simple way. In addition, are safe tools that give protection to the data stored inside it. Finally, achieved the project´s goals, constructive conclusions were generated, which allowed to giving know the advantages, disadvantages and the importance to implement and using the MIS in public entities, at the same time, was demonstrated that through these tools, the organizations can optimize its general performance, moreover, was also checked that implementing MIS gave a place to public entities to be competent and effective by veracity of information and the quickly way strategies are created.
