The purpose of this thesis is to carry out a technical and economic pre-feasibility study to improve mobility conditions in the road corridor that connects the urban area of the municipality of Puerto Gaitán, from the high mists to the Jaguar airport in the department of Meta, with based on the Geometric Design of the horizontal, vertical alignment and cross sections of the tertiary road in the section: Km 006+880 - Km 019+980. Said analysis is carried out by studying a representative stretch of 13.1km. When carrying out the analysis of the section under study with the Geometric Design Manual, parameters such as: minimum tangent length, minimum radii, maximum slopes, transition curves, cants, etc. were determined. These parameters have an impact on the operational aspect of the vehicles and on road safety. The evaluation of the points of the highway in which the observations of the geometric design parameters were found was carried out, in order to be able to analyze and determine the quantities and costs of carrying out said project, which consists of 9 curves which will be explained in the following work.
