The main objective of the following research is to determine the risk of self-injurious behaviors in adolescents in a public school in the city of Villavicencio. The sample consisted of 53 participants, aged 12 to 16 years, female and male, from the ninth and eighth grades of the Escuela Normal Superior de Villavicencio. The instrument used for data collection was the Self-Injury Risk Questionnaire (CRA) Herrera, et al (2021), which comprises 7 dimensions and 37 items. Thus, the results showed that there is no risk of self-injurious behaviors in the dimensions of affective regulation, dissociation, alternating suicidal behavior, interpersonal limits, interpersonal influence, punishment and sensation seeking, given that the scores obtained are between 0 and 1, which leads to the conclusion in this research that adolescents do not engage in these behaviors or also interpreted as having engaged in them once in their entire lives.
