Factores organizacionales, emocionales y prejuicios que influyen en la prestación de la atención humanizada en funcionarios de una IPS de la ciudad de Popayán para el año 2023.
This research addresses the factors that affect the provision of humanized care in SIEMPRE I.P.S., a first level health entity in the city of Popayán in the year 2023. First, the organizational aspects that may hinder humanized care are analyzed. The hierarchical structure, internal communication and organizational culture of SIEMPRE I.P.S. are examined to identify possible barriers. In addition, existing policies and protocols are evaluated to determine if they are aligned with humanization principles. Second, emotional factors that influence humanized care are explored. The emotions and level of empathy of SIEMPRE I.P.S. staff are examined, as well as the emotional support resources available. The importance of self-reflection and emotional management in medical care is highlighted. Finally, prejudices and stereotypes that may impact humanized care are addressed. The beliefs and attitudes of personnel towards different social groups are analyzed, as well as possible biases in decision making. The implementation of sensitization and training programs to reduce prejudice and promote egalitarian care is suggested.
