Understanding and identifying shortcomings and challenges of the General Pension System SGP is a challenge, in fact, everything that substantially impacts the modus vivendi of individuals and affects their future life perspective is very complex to understand, that is why the objective of this work is to open a theoretical discussion, to understand the operation of the SGP in Colombia and some challenges and difficulties it faces in the medium and short term.
