Globally, there are many factors that affect poultry farming systems, one of them is biosecurity on farms, the necessary balance must be maintained to ensure the optimal health of the sheds, thus avoiding the presence of diseases. The objective of this practice was the certification as a biosecure farm according to decree 3651 of 2014 to El Laguito farm granted by the Colombian Agricultural Institute (ICA). The Laguito is a farm dedicated to the production and commercialization of commercial eggs with the Isa Brown line, this farm has carried out the certification process for its poultry farm located in the Barbosa village, in the municipality of Girón, Santander. With this objective, the farm must comply with the biosecurity standards contemplated under resolution 3651 of 2014. By means of the present work, the certification as a Biosecure poultry farm contemplated in said law was carried out, developing and implementing the required protocols and their respective records necessary for the control of the activities.
