The consumption of illicit drugs in the city of Bucaramanga represents a social, economic and cultural problem, permeating the microsystem, through psychoactive substances such as alcohol and recreational drugs, declaring itself a problem framed in different age groups (vulnerable neighborhoods). and consequently tends to present egosyntonic factors in relation to the cognitive, affective and behavioral sphere, where inequality and social inequity is one of the possible causes attached to the incidence of the problem studied. This project evaluates the prevalence of symptoms associated with depression and anxiety in adult consumers of psychoactive substances in withdrawal, admitted to care and rehabilitation centers for drug and alcohol use in the city of Bucaramanga. They intend to measure the levels of depression and anxiety and investigate the relevant sociodemographic characteristics, as well as the identification of the main characteristics of the scores of the variables studied.
