In engineering practice, it is common to define the stability of a slope in terms of a Safety Factor (F.S.), obtained from a deterministic mathematical analysis; whose models must take into account most of the factors that affect stability, such as slope geometry, geological parameters, dynamic loads due to earthquakes, water flows, soil properties, etc. This is why the present study evaluates the stability for different inclinations, of the slope of soils of tropical origin, located in the Municipality of Venice Ant, an internal route of a certain project in the municipality, applying probabilistic methods, which estimate not only the Safety Factor, but also the probability of failure, the index of confidence in the parameter; in order to determine the most secure cutting slope in the execution of this internal route.
