Due to the growth of international trade, companies are in need of presenting their financial statements through a global language that guarantees their reliability, transparency, usefulness and at the same time they are understood by the users that require it; therefore there are the International Financial Reporting Standards hereinafter IFRS and the importance of implementing them to comply with these standards. In Colombia, through Law 1314 of 2009, the principles and rules of accounting and financial information and information assurance are regulated based on decrees 2784 of 2012 issued for large companies or group 1 who would apply IFRS PLENAS and 3022 of 2013 for small companies. and medians called group 2 and on SMEs who would apply IFRS for SMEs.
