Prevención de violencias de género y promoción de derechos sexuales, reproductivos y menstruales a mujeres migrantes con vocación de permanencia y comunidades de acogida en el Municipio de Arauca
The rights in sexual, reproductive and menstrual health, and the prevention of gender violence, make up the rights of people; which serve to guarantee a life that is free of any discrimination, rejection or sexual, reproductive and gender-based violence. Currently, many women are unaware that they are subject to rights and that they can avoid being violated; This allows submission to women, who continue to be seen as submissive before a subordinate who is generally the man. In accordance with the above, this program was designed, which is called "Prevention of Gender Violence and Promotion of Sexual Reproductive and Menstrual Rights to Migrant Women, with a Vocation of Permanence and Host Communities in the Municipality of Arauca" , in order to raise awareness among migrant women with a vocation of permanence and host communities in the municipality of Arauca, about the rights in sexual, reproductive, menstrual health, and prevention of gender violence, through psychosocial meetings, achieving female empowerment, multiplication of knowledge and prevention of violence. In relation to the above, three activities were designed, which allowed addressing the aforementioned issues, and generating the expected impact on the participants; The first activity is on "Sexual Reproductive and Menstrual Rights" in order to guide the participants on the subject, to generate empowerment and multiplication of knowledge; The second activity is about "Gender-Based Violence", this was carried out to identify the existing violence, subtle or explicit, avoiding that situations of violence that generate emotional, physical and psychological damage to women and in many cases continue to be normalized. causes death; and the third activity is about "Attention Routes" to guide the participants about the entities where any woman could go if she is a victim or knows a victim of violence.
