The nutritional status of the population, particularly in early childhood, is an indicator of quality of life of populations, as reflecting the physical, intellectual and emotional development of individuals, closely related to their health and dietary factors, socioeconomic, environmental and cultural, among others, and therefore plays an important role in the oral health status. This leads to the formulation of research questions all around the theme of children with malnutrition and intraoral and extraoral manifestations. The aim of this paper was to establish the prevalence of dentomaxilares anomalies, associated with nutritional status of children, through a critical analysis of the literature in the period 2000-2011. We conducted a systematic literature review that included 11 items indexed national and international magazines.
