The work is part of the project "Peace with a Territorial Approach, Practices and Community Perceptions: Supplies for a Social Agenda, Cauca Chapter", promoted by the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia. The representation of the Locus of Control (LC) is sought in the conception of peace, territory and collective life project present in the discourse of people who were part of the Colombian armed conflict. Through the qualitative method, specifically that of grounded theory, a microanalysis is developed that results in an open, axial and selective coding process on the discursive content of seven interviews, which, together with a netnographic investigation in the social network Facebook, allowed build categories of analysis that expose a description of the phenomenon. The research offers a conceptualization of the attribution that people make to the events of their lives in the period after the signing of the peace agreement in Colombia.
