This research focuses on the development of a family intervention protocol as a method of relapse prevention in former SPA consumers and graduates of the FARO institution, where what is sought is to carry out a psychological process at the family level in order to convert the family into a protective factor in relapse prevention, since the family constitutes a natural and significant social group, which determines the responses of its members through stimuli from within, which is reflected in psycho-social protection of its members and from abroad where accommodation to a culture and the transformation of that culture and therefore psychosocial adaptation after such treatment is allowed.
