The aggressions towards the female population can be manifested from the emotional, physical abuse and on which this research is focused, which is the abuse and aggression of sexuality. Therefore, it is a humiliating and discriminatory practice that a person can experience, since in addition to the physical, emotional, and mental damage that this can generate, it can bring self-injurious consequences on the part of the victim, which can end in a fatal event, for example. therefore, this results in significant damage to health, which is why the purpose of exploring this topic as an alternative to identify and describe representations about sexual violence in women aged 18-25 from the UCC, taking as research methodology a qualitative approach with a hermeneutic design, developed through a semi-structured interview with a process to apply and collect information; After the analysis of results, unfavorable social representations are obtained, perceiving absence in the sense of belonging to the object of study, being perceived as a foreign problem, denoting absence in the search for help, ignorance of institutions, rights and guarantees, such as absence in preventive attitudes. Therefore, it is concluded that there is a need to raise awareness of said population and generate institutional strengthening in the region.
