Youth unemployment is positioned as one of the phenomena with the greatest impact worldwide, identifying that high unemployment rates cause both economic and social consequences, which of course include the erosion of social cohesion and the promotion of crime. In Colombia, youth unemployment has been present in the last decade, worsening due to the pandemic, a period in which the mandatory quarantine, imposed in order to mitigate the spread of the COVID-2019 virus, further decreased the possibility of employment, situation registered to a greater extent, in the city of Bogotá.
