At present, alcohol consumption has been a general problem in young people, which generates difficulties to develop in their student, social and family environment, having aggressive and impatient behaviors and in the last cases they have suicidal ideas. For this reason, it is considered within the research process necessary to identify, know and rec ognize what alcoholism is, what problems or difficulties drinking alcohol has in young people for their student development and in their social and family environment. To achieve this objective of the research, the application of a quantitative type survey will be carried out to a group of 85 people who include the age of 18 to 30 years between the male and female gender of the cooperative university of Colombia, Villavicencio headquarters where it is sought to identify the knowledge that students have about alcohol consumption and its consequences. This research project aims to generate pedagogical and methodological indications that allow training and helping students of the cooperative university of Colombia on issues related to alcohol consumption and the consequences it has for their development.
