The stability analysis of a slope or slope comprises basically two parts, one determining the internal surface under the highest stresses and the magnitude of the stresses acting on that surface and, two, determination of shear resistance along this surface. Recently, both compact floors and debris fillings have become part of the unsaturated materials faced by geotechnical engineers in slope stabilization. Understanding the mechanical and hydraulic behaviour of these floors is of great importance for the design, construction and maintenance of floors, as they are also subject to changes in humidity and changes in their behavior throughout their construction and service life.
