Job stability is a right enjoyed by workers who are in a situation of manifest weakness in Colombia, which has been established by means of and through the Constitutional jurisprudence has been regulated, filling the legal gaps for situations that may arise and that the law does not contemplate. Reinforced labor stability, although it is not a fundamental right, it is protected by means of the guardianship action it is related to the immediacy with which it is acted upon and thus to avoid irreparable damage to the worker. There are at least three factual patterns frequently litigated in cases of reinforced labor stability, in the case of pregnant women, people with disabilities and people with catastrophic illnesses.
