This is a research proposal, it arises in the seminar to deepen safety and health at work, of the Cooperative University of Colombia, this aims to describe the coping strategies in the face of stress related to work at home, in women adult heads of household, from the city of Villavicencio, highlighting stress as the main theme, because at present this is a common theme in relation to psychological, physiological and labor factors, due to the social and environmental conditions to which the human being is immersed. For this reason, it is important to know how to properly identify the presence of work stress in women and their coping strategies in order to generate a change at an individual and social level, also contributing to the reduction of stress factors and levels, thus favoring a comprehensive development of staff working at home, so that the study carried out is qualitative and descriptive, taking into account inclusion criteria; Among them are women who work in the work modality known as work at home, from the City of Villavicencio and have an age range between 27 and 49 years of age, in addition to being female heads of household.
