The lack or insufficiency of programs related to neuropsychological intervention in children in our country has led us to investigate the importance of this in 6-year-old infants, because it is a fundamental stage for the evolutionary process and where skills are obtained, as well Our goal is to apply to 6-year-old schoolchildren a test that evaluates various components that are relevant, which help to identify if there are difficulties in development at ages that are in the beginning stage of schooling, being important in the development of the infant. , given that areas such as articulatory, expressive, and comprehensive language, psychomotricity, spatial structuring, iconic memory, visual perception, verbal fluency, rhythm, reading, writing, attention, and laterality are evaluated. In the same way, with this, the general objective can be obtained, such as identifying the level of neuropsychological maturity in 6-year-old infants from a public school in the city of Villavicencio, based on the application of the CUMANIN test, in addition to having the present investigation a methodology with a quantitative approach, perhaps including a non-experimental, descriptive and cross-sectional design, encompassing a sample of 28 6-year-old preschoolers enrolled in the Luis F. Gómez Niño Military Gymnasium of the Air Force, the inventory to be used is the Child Neuropsychological Maturity Questionnaire, allowing this to evaluate the neuropsychological maturity in each infant, giving the opportunity to collect numerical results about each evaluated area and Neuropsychological Maturity; Finally, through the results, it is possible to identify that the 6-year-old children of the Luis F. Gómez Niño Military School have the capabilities of the Air Force of the city of Villavicencio, presenting an average level of Neuropsychological Maturity, having these to function in an appropriate way. suitable for the surrounding environment.
