In this work we have focused on identifying and relating the main elements for the evaluation of the SARLAFT model in a legal company dedicated to the trade of outboard motors in the municipality of Turbo-Antioquia 2021. The study is primarily qualitative and descriptive in scope, requiring an exploratory and clarifying approach. In order to achieve the proposed objectives through the documentation analysis technique and the pertinent review to recommend the processes to be carried out. In order to develop the case study, a legal company was used as a base, where the aim was to identify how much is known about the current regulations, how often they are updated, to whom they are applied (customers, suppliers, employees) and how they manage to identify the SARLAFT model. This development is carried out through the management of information to verify the object of the case study, for this a direct observation, a review of documentation, interviews, survey of employees, managers, suppliers, and customers will be carried out in order to determine how the SARLAFT model is being used. In this way it is expected to identify if the company is doing a good management of the SARLAFT model regulations, or if on the contrary, due to lack of knowledge, it is being used for money laundering or financing of terrorism, since outboard motors are activities that can easily give the appearance of assets from criminal activities. To conclude this study, it is expected to obtain results that show the importance of the SARLAFT model management in the entities and even more the importance of the accountant in this process to avoid the introduction of resources coming from illicit activities into the financial system of the company.
