Diseño y modelacion de proyectos en dos y tres dimensiones con la metodología bim (building information modeling) soportado en herramienta autodesk revit
The construction of projects in general, and mainly in Colombia, have shown drawbacks at the time of delivering technical documents (plans, calculation reports, etc.), which come from pre-construction stages, that is, from the moment same of the conception of the project or in the design stages, because the detailed and unreliable information, lack of integration in the workflow and discontinuous communication between the different disciplines involved in the project, erroneous information due to the lack of updating immediate data through the CAD methodology, which impacts negatively in more advanced stages of the project, for example in the construction phase, mainly the execution deadlines, which translate into higher costs for the work, which subsequently triggers quality problems because it is in full execution of the works where we proceed to solve them, generating interruptions in the processes of the realization of it. For the above reasons, the construction sector requires tools that help improve workflow and allow greater control, collaboration and optimal communications with other specialties to increase the quality of deliveries and thus prevent future problems in the construction stage. or that fewer mistakes are made. And one of the trends that is being presented in the methods of design and construction of architecture, engineering and related projects, is the BIM methodology (Building Information Modeling) and its collaborative tools. In previous years the design processes were carried out in pencil, ink and paper, analogous drawing, after this the CAD era appeared, which reproduced these basic processes supported by lines, textures and representation systems, 2D, 3D and 4D computer visualization . This trend has had a boom since the real process of construction is replicated in the computer throughout the life cycle of the building and its dimensions, through a three-dimensional model that can be coordinated, updated and modified with all the disciplines involved at each stage of the project.
